In the case of the timetable and grouping ppl, I have to say it’s times like this I wish I was born a boy, at least my surname would have been Miah rather than Begum so that way I’d be at Queen Anne (Maritime Site) for at least two of my exam, though on the other hand, I’d still be at Bathway for the 2 AM exam so maybe it wouldn’t be as worthwhile .. hehe

My first exam is This Wednesday so wish me luck people!

What? I saw it, and you know I had to check it out!

Your Five Factor Personality Profile

Extroversion:

You have medium extroversion.
You’re not the life of the party, but you do show up for the party.
Sometimes you are full of energy and open to new social experiences.
But you also need to hibernate and enjoy your "down time."

Conscientiousness:

You have high conscientiousness.
Intelligent and reliable, you tend to succeed in life.
Most things in your life are organized and planned well.
But you borderline on being a total perfectionist.

Agreeableness:

You have low agreeableness.
Your self interest comes first, and others come later, if at all.
In general, you feel that people are not to be trusted.
And you’re skeptical that anyone else really feels differently.

Neuroticism:

You have high neuroticism.
It’s easy for you to feel shaken, worried, or depressed.
You often worry, and your worries prevent you from living life fully.
You tend to be emotionally reactive and moody. Your either flying very high or feeling very low.

Openness to experience:

Your openness to new experiences is medium.
You are generally broad minded when it come to new things.
But if something crosses a moral line, there’s no way you’ll approve of it.
You are suspicious of anything too wacky, though you do still consider creativity a virtue.

Hmm… well i suppose there is some truth to it. Try it yourself and tell me what you get!

Mu$t C – For ALL Ur Book NeedZ

Calling ALL Students!

Sorry but I had to add this. If you’re a student then you’ll understand how important books are for at least the 3 years of your undergraduate degree if not for much longer. Although your institute library should have most, if not all, of the books from your reading lists, it does not however mean you will actually get hold of those books, trust me I know!

I don’t know how you guys feel about this but personally I like to have my own collection of books just cos it a) means I don’t have to go running around looking for books when I need them and b) it makes me feel smart having my own "library" at home

But as you probably may be aware is that having the books alone isn’t sufficient. Lecturers do like to see a wide array of sources used, which includes journals, and reliable websites. And don’t be afraid to use more than one book for the same topic. I’ve found sometimes using at least two textbooks helps me understand certain areas better, as they do often complement each other quite well.

Oh and a tip – you may want to keep a record of all the books you have, because as embarassing as it sounds, have actually searched for books only to later realise I have my own copy

My Recommended Sites:

Amazon.co.uk – perhaps the best source for books (in my opinion). the New and Used section is great, as it often has the books you want and the condition really is as new. I even use this site for presents, either actual books, or in form of gift certificates, which btw is the best gift you could give a student! Oh and even better is that if you buy a book from Amazon directly which is over £15 you get free p&p! (otherwise its £2.75 per book) Also if you have a nectar card you can collect nectar points too!

Ebay.co.uk – another great site for deals. Although most people do use amazon to sell books, ebay is still used and you can get some great bargains. And its not just for books, you can get some other great stuff too. I’ve bought loads of things, from data cable to mobile fascias to card readers to make-up (for my mate and lil sister, i don’t really wear make-up). Yes I confess, I did go through a period where you could say I was a little bit of an ebay-addict, just a little though, I’m over it now But seriously though, you can get some good stuff, and if you buy-it-now from UK sellars you can collect nectar points too!

Will add more later! EnJoY these for now, and feel free to leave your comments!
